Vauxhall drivers told to look for detail hidden in every car since 2004

Vauxhall drivers are being urged to thoroughly check the inside of their cars for one bizarre hidden detail which has been uncovered by a man on TikTok.

Toby Brewer, @tobybrewer, initially shared a video from Car Buyer in which a car expert revealed the interesting fact – that every single Vauxhall car made after 2004 features a shark imprint on a piece of plastic somewhere inside the vehicle.

The man said: “Apparently, every Vauxhall has had a shark dotted around on some piece of plastic since 2004. Bet you didn’t know that.”

After seeing the clip, Toby ran out to his own car to see if the rumours were true – and found the hidden detail on the hinge of his glovebox.

He captioned his video: “I looked for it before I made the video, car needs a clean too!”

The man’s post has over 2 million views and has left people desperate to hunt for the hidden shark in their own cars.

One person commented: “It’s half 12 at night and now I want to get out of bed and search my car.”

While another said: “Me frantically looking for it in my Vauxhall Astra but cannot find it.”

And a third posted: “Now I have to go check and it’s midnight!!”

A fourth also said: “I’ve got a Viva 2019 and am about to search my entire car.”

Many were even left jealous that their vehicles were too old for the unique imprint.

Someone said: “Crying now because my Astra is from 2001.”

Before another added: “I used to have a Vauxhall ... never noticed this.”

While other commenters left helpful tips on how to find the shark without spending all day turning your car inside out.

One person revealed: “YouTube has a video of every Vauxhall make and model, and where to find the shark.”
