There have been delays on the A90 heading north after a car crashed into a barrier near Dalmeny.
The Vauxhall Astra burst into flames following the accident around 9.20am on Friday.
The vehicle was later removed from the carriageway by emergency services.
Police said the driver was taken to hospital as a precaution and their injuries are not thought to be serious.
A lane of the road was blocked before being re-opened later on Friday morning.
