Celtic could be set to cut their losses on their £5million flop Vasilis Barkas, with reported interest in Italy.
There were high hopes for the Greek goalkeeper after he arrived from AEK Athens last summer, but things haven't worked out.
After a string of blunders Ange Postecoglou appears to have decided Barkas is surplus to requirements.
Despite taking part in the warm up in Sunday's 6-0 win against Dundee, the 27-year-old didn't even make the bench.
Following a calamitous start to the campaign he's fallen behind new signing Joe Hart and back-up Scott Bain as third-choice.
And reports in Greece suggest clubs are set to firm up their interest in the goalkeeper.
Greek website Sportime say there has been interest from Italy in Barkas.
And the paper's editor in chief Giannis Chorianopoulos has suggested on social media that "one or two" teams are "on the verge of making enquiries".
Former club AEK are also believed to be keeping tabs on his situation, with PAOK interested.
It's not likely the Hoops will be able to recoup anywhere near the big-money they spent on the keeper, but a loan switch could be on the cards.
