Celtic are close to completing a move for Greek goalkeeper Vasilios Barkas.
The stopper is almost certain to sign for the club with the loose ends of any deal being tied up in the coming days.
Barkas will join from AEK Athens in a deal worth around £4.5m with add ons to follow.
The Greek outfit will also make money from any future sale of the 26-year-old should the Hoops then move him on.
Neil Lennon has been on the lookout for a new No. 1 after Fraser Forster 's loan deal ended.
The big goalkeeper returned to Southampton and Celtic did want to bring him back to Glasgow, but Forster is weighing up other options and Lennon changed his target.
He turned his attentions toward Barkas, having initially been chased by the club last season.
He's now on the verge of completing his move to Glasgow and will battle it out with Scott Bain for the starting shirt at Celtic Park.
Record Sport revealed on Sunday night that Albanian striker Albian Ajeti is also high on Lennon's wanted list.
The West Ham striker is expected to sign a loan deal with the club, should it be agreed between the Scottish champions and David Moyes' men.
