Rock legend David Bowie has undeniably left his mark on the music scene.

And after being named the ‘greatest entertainer’ of the 20th century by the British public in a BBC Two poll, his legend continues to live on – most recently, in the form of a new collection from Vans.

Each design takes its roots in one of Bowie’s albumsHunky Dory, Aladdin Sane, Space Oddity, and Diamond Dogs—with the four different shoes coming in the form of Vans’ most popular silhouettes, the Slip-On 47 V DX, Old Skool, Era, and Sk8-Hi.

Bowie’s influence within the fashion sphere doesn’t end here. During his lifetime, Bowie heavily influenced designers including Jean-Paul Gaultier and Dries Van Noten, and in 2013 a fashion and memorabilia-focused exhibition, David Bowie Is, brought the musician's iconic style to museums all over the globe.

This isn’t the first rock collaboration for Vans. Earlier in 2019, it announced a new collaboration with Led Zeppelin as part of the band’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

The Vans x David Bowie collection is set to hit the store on April 5, and you can sign up to receive alerts here.
