Vanessa Hudgens takes break from filming in Edinburgh to pose in front of Forth Bridge

If you have taken a stroll through South Queensferry lately and thought you saw Vanessa Hudgens, it turns out your eyes may not have been deceiving you.

The Hollywood star apparently "loves bridges" and took a break from filming to walk along the shorefront where she posed in front of the historic Forth Bridge.

Sharing the snap with over 40 million followers on Instagram, she said: "Hi, I’m Vanessa and I love bridges and scrunchy socks. Lol."

The star, who was wearing this bag from local designer Strathberry, has been staying at a pricey £1,600 per night Edinburgh suite at the luxurious Balmoral Hotel with her family while she films her new Netlfix movie, the Princes Switch series.

In recent weeks, Hudgens and the crew have been spotted filming in various locations, including Newbattle Abbey College in Dalkeith, The Dome, Hopetoun House and Mimi's Bakehouse.

Hollywood actress star Vanessa Hudgens spoke of her love for "magical" Edinburgh before filming the sequel to The Princess Switch.

The 32-year-old, from California, has spoken of her love for "magical" Edinburgh and said she was impressed by the capital’s architecture and history.

She said: “This was my first time in Scotland and I was so excited to go. We shot in Edinburgh for two months and, as soon as we got there and I was in the car driving around, I immediately fell in love.

“We got to take full advantage by filming in these magical locations – beautiful castles and huge manors that are family owned and passed down through generations.”
