Vanessa Hudgens has been staying at a pricey £1,600 per night Edinburgh suite with her family while she films her new Netlfix movie.
The star has been staying at the luxurious Balmoral Hotel outside Waverley since before Christmas with her mother Gina and sister Stella Hudgens, reports EEN.
In recent weeks the High School Musical star has been spotted filming at Newbattle Abbey College in Dalkeith, as well as filming scenes at well known spots such as the The Dome, Hopetoun House and Mimi's Bakehouse.
Speaking about the star's appearance, a source told the Daily Record: “The location of filming right now is Newbattle Abbey College and I can confirm that Vanessa Hudgens is also here.
“The location after this is Hopetoun House. The grounds of Newbattle Abbey College have been taken over by crew.
“The crew have been here since before Christmas but started filming on Thursday.
“It was a bit of a shock that I saw Vanessa but she was sporting a lovely pink hat you would see at weddings.”
In December Hudgens celebrated her birthday at her Balmoral suite with cake, champagne and pizza, posting a picture on her Instagram.
As well as spending Christmas in the capital, the actress has enjoyed exploring Cockburn Street and rolling around Arthur's Seat at New Year.
In the last Princess Switch film, Hopetoun House was transformed into the fictional Montenaro Castle. The Princess Switch 3 is expected to release on Netflix around Christmas in 2021.
