Vanessa Hudgens and her longtime boyfriend Austin Butler have reportedly called time on their relationship.
The couple have been together for eight years and according to the outlet’s source, they are “officially broken up” according to Us Weekly.
Fans of the former Disney star have previously pointed out that Butler has not made an appearance on Hudgens Instagram since October, whereas Hudgens’ last appearance on Butler’s was in July at the premiere of his film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Us Weekly’s source said, “Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup.”
Since the news of their reported split, Hudgens made a glamorous red carpet appearance at the premiere of her film Bad Boys for Life in a dramatic feathered and sparkly gown.
Prior to their reported split, Butler and Hudgens were known for being one of the most stylish couples on the scene.
From their reign as Coachella’s unofficial king and queen through to their moody Halloween couple’s photoshoots, sadly Butler will have to find a new subject for his artsy black and white portraits.
Prior to their split, Butler landed the role of Elvis Presley in an upcoming biopic alongside Tom Hanks - reportedly beating the likes of Harry Styles, Miles Teller and Ansel Elgort to the part. The film will be directed by Baz Luhrmann, the man behind award-winning films Moulin Rouge and Romeo & Juliet.
Hudgens most recently hit Netflix starring in The Knight Before Christmas. She stars alongside Will Smith and Charles Melton in Bad Boys for Life.
