Curtis Pritchard was blasted by Vanessa Feltz as she accused him of letting Amy Hart "take the blame" for his cheating.
The air hostess was left heartbroken last night on Love Island as the dancer admitted that his gaze had wandered during her time in Casa Amor.
He admitted that he had been "lying from the start" and that he fancied new girl Jourdan.
If that weren't enough, he said that he had snogged Jourdan during the games they played and that he would have recoupled with her if he hadn't been rejected.
Curtis told Amy that it had made him think that there was something wrong with their relationship and that she needed to trust him more.
This Morning agony aunt Vanessa hit out at Curtis on the programme today during her phone-in.
"If you're about to tell someone something they really don't want to hear and you know it, really do question why you're doing it," she said pointedly.
Host Holly Willoughby smiled, asking: "Are you thinking about Curtis here on Love Island?"
Vanessa replied: "Yes! Im thinking about lots of people. Yeah Curtis on Love Island."
Phil put his head in his hands as Vanessa continued: "Don't lay it on them. Don't let them take the blame for something you have done. Don't let them question what they have done which made you do it. He did it, his choice!"
Earlier today, Curtis' brother AJ defended his brother against the backlash he has received over his awkward recoupling speech.
As well as hitting out at the girls for interfering, he insisted that Amy Hart needed to trust Curtis.
AJ also said that it had been hard seeing his brother so upset and that Curtis "wears his heart on his sleeve".
Speaking on Lorraine today, Curtis said: "It's hard seeing him and seeing it from the bigger picture."
He added: "Curtis wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s so honest, he literally can’t lie and that’s sometimes his downfall, sometimes I feel like, ‘Just say it this way, it’ll come across maybe nicer than the way you’ve said it…’”
"The other girls are blocking Amy [from talking to him]," he pointed out. "My advice was just talk to Amy."
Speaking about Curtis and Amy's relationship troubles, AJ said: "It’s been portrayed that he’s kind of cheated on her, whereas realistically, yes he kissed another girl, but that was in a task."
"She does need to trust in Curtis, I know it's hard," AJ said.
Asked whether he thought Curtis should stay with Amy, AJ said: "I think he should stay with Amy. Curtis does what he feels and he wants to get back with her.”
He added: "100% yeah, she's a gorgeous girl."
