Police are hunting vandals who trashed the inside of a Catholic church in Glasgow .
Yobs went on a wrecking spree inside St Simon's RC Church in Partick on Monday.
Religious displays were destroyed, flowers left strewn and a smashed up statue of Jesus was found on the floor.
The attack has been branded 'shameful' by the church.

A spokesperson said: "This is a shameful attack on a much loved church.
It come just days after vile Bigots scrawl vile anti-Catholic graffiti outside Celtic legend Billy McNeill church was left outside the Holy Family Parish Church in Mossend, where the late Celtic legend Billy McNeill was baptised.
Bigots scrawled "F**k the Pope" on the bus shelter outside the church.

The act of destruction has been branded as a "shameful attack" by church chiefs.
Speaking on behalf of St Simon's, a spokesman for the city's archdiocese said: "This is a shameful attack on a much loved church. Let's find those responsible."
A police spokesperson said: "At 4.20pm on Monday, April 29, significant vandalism was reported to police within St Simon's Church, Partick Bridge Street, Glasgow."
"Enquiries are ongoing at this time."
