Van stuck on tram tracks caused delays to the service

Trams were delayed after a van got stuck on the tracks.

The incident happened at around 11.30am on Thursday, June 13.

There was no service between Meadows Way West and University Boulevard while the vehicle was removed.

The service was up and running again at 12.10pm.

NCT said the van was blocking the tracks.

At around 12.15pm, a spokesman for NCT said: "The vehicle has now been removed from our tracks and we are now running through to all destinations again with delays to some Hucknall to Toton Lane services.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
