A van full of Quality Street tins was stopped on the M6 as it was overweight.
Police in Cheshire served up sweet justice to the driver, by issuing a traffic offence report.
In a tweet put up by Cheshire HGV Cops on Friday, officers said: "Van carrying chocolate stopped on the M6 Sandbach.
"Driver thought that the 3,500kg van was the amount of load it could carry.
"41% overweight. Prohibited/TOR issued".
It led to a stream of comical replies from social media users which might make you Snicker.
One joker replied: "If he wants any help lightening the load I’m available."
While another wrote: "That's a Quality Tweet."
"Bet he melted when explained the wrongs of his ways", said another.
And one added: "He should've hired a Double Decker."
