A police helicopter joined a search for two people after a suspected stolen van was found dumped in Warrington.
At around 12.30pm on Sunday (August 22) police became aware of what was believed to be a stolen white Ford Transit van travelling on the A49 Winwick Road, near Orford Park.
Officers attended the scene and recovered the vehicle, which was abandoned by Toby's Carvery on Collegiate Road.

The occupants had fled the scene and tried to hide themselves in the local area.
The police helicopter was called to the scene and after a search of the area officers arrested a 16-year-old boy and a 23-year-old man people in connection to the incident.
The 16-year-old boy from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested on suspicion of burglary, handling stolen goods and driving offences.
The 23-year-old man from Skelmesdale was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and driving on false plates.
Both men have since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
