Van 'deliberately' set on fire in North Somerset

A van has been 'deliberately' set on fire in the North Somerset area. Pictures show that significant damage was done to the vehicle after it was torched on Nailsea Wall Lane, which runs between Nailsea and Clevedon.

The van was still alight when three fire service crews arrived at the scene at around 4.16am today (July 7), but they managed to extinguish the blaze. No one was injured, according to Avon Fire and Rescue.

A spokesperson for the service said: "Three fire crews, from Clevedon and Nailsea, were called at 4:16am to reports of a van fire. On arrival crews found one van alight."
