German heavy metal and a cappella band Van Canto make their Australian debut in Hobart for the Festival of Voices. Originally a conventional heavy metal band, the group were keen to do something different. And they certainly are unique - five singers and one drummer produce a rich melodic sound without a guitar, bass or keyboard.
