All agent buffs and nerfs in VALORANT Patch 11.10
Harbor and Clove take center stage in Patch 11.10, with major buffs and nerfs you’ll want to know before queuing for your next ranked match.
Harbor
Riot had teased a year-end Harbor rework during VALORANT Champions Paris—and considering how little impact he’s had in ranked or pro play since his release, an update of this sort always seemed inevitable. And now that it’s finally here, I don’t think Riot could have crafted a more balanced rework for the water bender. However, I’d be happier if the Slow effect no longer posed a threat to Harbor and his allies. We still have to endure that pain.
Harbor now plays as a more aggressive controller while still retaining his pseudo-initiator traits—just in a new form. Here’s a technical rundown of how Harbor’s kit changes with Patch 11.10:
Cove
- Cove is now a signature ability; one free charge at the start of the round.
- Reworked description: EQUIP Cove. ACTIVATE to form a water Smoke in the select location. HOLD FIRE while targeting to move the marker further away, and HOLD ALT FIRE to move it closer. RELOAD to toggle targeting view. REACTIVATE to Shield the water Smoke, blocking any bullets that hit it. The Shielded water Smoke can be destroyed.
High Tide
- Changed to a non-signature ability
- Now costs 300 credits
Storm Surge
- New Harbor ability; replaces Cascade
- Description: EQUIP Storm Surge. FIRE to throw, creating an explosive whirlpool that Nearsights and Slows enemies within it after a short duration.
Reckoning
- Reckoning, Harbor’s ultimate, has been extensively reworked.
- Reworked description: EQUIP Reckoning. FIRE to unleash the full power of your artifact, releasing a surge of water that barrels forward to Nearsight and Slow enemies that are hit.
- Reckoning no longer concusses enemies.
Besides changes to his abilities, the patch also updates Harbor’s voice lines to reflect the rework. You’ll now hear new voice lines with Tejo and Waylay, and at match start on Abyss and Corrode.
Clove

Harbor’s rework lands with a batch of Clove nerfs too—and honestly, no shocker there. Riot was always going to step in eventually to curb their unchecked dominance in ranked.
The problem wasn’t just Clove’s sky-high pick rate: Their selfish pseudo-duelist playstyle has been warping the controller meta, a role that’s supposed to reward teamwork and clever utility, not solo fragging. Patch 11.10’s changes aim to shave off Clove’s snowballing power by putting a check on their post-death smokes and self-healing ability. Here’s a list of changes:
Ruse
- Ruse (smoke) charges are now restricted to one maximum when Clove is dead. So, you can drop only one smoke at a time.
Pick Me Up
- Overheal amount has been reduced from 100 HP to 50 HP while Pick Me Up is active—same as Reyna’s Devour, but the healing is temporary
Omen
Omen gets a minor change with Patch 11.10, which will now let spectators watch his perspective in Dark Cover when he’s placing his smokes.
Other updates in VALORANT Patch 11.10
Major Team HUD update to indicate healing
You can now see which one of your teammates is in the process of healing from the top HUD health bar. During recovery, the bar on you or your teammates turns teal and fills to reflect healing progress. Once recovered, the bar returns to its normal white color.
The skin collections page has been improved
The Collections page has been enhanced with the following features:
- A grid layout is in, and carousel is out for PC Weapons & Buddies
- New dedicated page for equipping and viewing titles on PC
- Custom skinline backgrounds across more Collections screens, letting your favorite weapon skins shine
If you’re in Korea, however, you’ll see the Collections update with Patch 11.11.
Competitive updates for rank manipulation
Starting Patch 11.10, all players ranked Ascendant and higher in North America, Latin America, Brazil, and Korea have to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) with the Riot Mobile app to access the Competitive queue. It’s part of Riot’s push to curb smurfing, account selling, and other forms of rank manipulation.
A crucial Gameplay update for stacked debuffs
You can now remove “all persistent attached debuffs” at once by holding the “Use Object” button or F key. So, if you get marked by a Cypher Dart and Deadlock GravNet at the same time, you can just press and hold the F key to remove both at once.
Besides all these changes, Patch 11.10 is also bringing Pick’ems for VCT Game Changers, starting Nov. 13. You can access the Pick’ems page in the in-game client via the Esports tab.
Premier mode updates (PC only)
You can now view any Premier team’s information from standings, invites, and your social panel. Just right-click on any team name featured on the Premier standings and choose “View Team.” You can right-click on a friend’s name on the social panel to view their team’s details as well. The same goes for a Premier team invite you received.
