VALORANT is one of the five new titles that have been included for the Esports World Cup in 2025, and the tournament is set to feature plenty of big names from across the world. While the regional leagues begin soon, the VALORANT championship at EWC 2025 will be the first tournament since Toronto Masters to feature teams from all over the planet.
Most of the teams that were seen at the Masters will be present at the EWC championship as well, giving Paper Rex a chance to assert their dominance with back-to-back global trophies. Considering that the tournament will be played out in Patch v10.11 of Episode 10, Act Three.

VALORANT Esports World Cup 2025 teams
The VALORANT tournament at EWC 2025 features a total of 16 teams, vying for a prize pool of $1,250,000. Eight of these teams made their way to the tournament via their position in regional leagues, while the other eight found their path through the regional qualifiers. Since this is the first time that VALORANT is being featured at the EWC, it will be interesting to see which teams finish on the podium.

VALORANT EWC 2025 schedule and format
The VALORANT championship at EWC 2025 is set to kick off on July 8 with the group stages and end on July 13 with the grand final. The tournament is split up into two parts: a double-elimination format group stage and a single-bracket elimination playoffs round. The first phase will run from July 8 to 10, while the playoffs will take place from July 11 to 13.
The group stage will feature four groups of four, and two teams from each group will make it into the quarter-finals of the playoffs. Here are the four groups as they have been confirmed by EWC:
