Valladolid vs Real Madrid: Score prediction, team news, live stream, odds, TV, tickets - LaLiga preview

Real Valladolid vs Real Madrid
LaLiga 2018-19
Venue: Estadio Jose Zorrilla
Date: Sunday, March 10, 2019
Kick-off: 7:45pm GMT

Sunday's LaLiga clash between Real Valladolid and Real Madrid pits together two teams desperately short of form as we approach the business end of the 2018-19 season.

Rumours are abound that Jose Mourinho could be set to return to the Santiago Bernabeu dugout, with Santiago Solari coming under severe pressure after Los Blancos suffered successive defeats to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey semi-finals before being ousted from the Champions League last-16 stage by Ajax in humiliating circumstances.

Real Madrid head into the weekend third in the Spanish top-flight, five points adrift of Atletico and 12 behind their fiercest rivals in first.

They will still be expected to take care of business against a Valladolid team majority-owned by the original Ronaldo that sit 16th and only three points above the relegation zone having claimed just one solitary victory to date in 2019 - against Celta Vigo in January.

Sergio's side, who were promoted from the Segunda Division last season, lost 3-1 to Espanyol last weekend.

Score prediction: Valladolid 0-2 Real Madrid

Another poor result here would surely seal Solari's fate, if that has not happened behind closed doors already.

Real Madrid beat Valladolid 2-0 in his first LaLiga game in charge back in November thanks to late goals from Vinicius Junior and Sergio Ramos, and you would expect a similar outcome in the return fixture despite the club's recent woes.

However, Valladolid will be encouraged by the fact that their opponents will be missing several players through injury and suspension.

Real Madrid team news and line-up

Real Madrid will once again be without Sergio Ramos - who is said to have had an extraordinary bust-up with club president Florentino Perez after the 4-1 defeat by Ajax - due to suspension.

Marcos Llorente, Vinicius, Lucas Vazquez and Dani Carvajal are all injured, while Gareth Bale is sidelined with an ankle problem.
