A popular Highland single malt has teamed up with sustainable seafood supplier and Belgian chocolatier to create a romantic Valentine’s hamper for ‘locked-down lovers’ all over the UK.
Old Pulteney has partnered with Fish To Your Door and Guylian to deliver the 'ultimate romantic at-home experience' for whisky fans to celebrate the big day on February 14.
The special hamper includes a dozen fresh oysters, famous for their powers of seduction, paired with a bottle of the Old Pulteney 12 Years Old single malt - known for its briny coastal flavours.
While the Old Pulteney team say the sweet notes of their popular Maritime malt also pairs well with Guylian’s iconic Sea Shells, which also come with the pack and are filled with original roasted hazelnut praline.
For those couples that are having to spend lockdown apart, the firms are offering a second hamper with 20% off which can be sent to any distant lovers to be shared and enjoyed virtually.

As part of the experience Malcolm Waring, Old Pulteney Distillery Manager, explained that the new offering can be paired with a newly launched Augmented Reality app that will allow customers to bring the coast to their homes, offering a "whisky tasting experience like never before".
The app will offer access to ‘Let It Slow’; a soothing coastal soundtrack from the distillery's home in Wick which captures audio from the north coast of Scotland - from lapping sea waves and crunching sand to the rhythmic tempo of rolling casks as the team create their Old Pulteney single malt.
Malcolm added: “A coastal escape might not be possible this Valentine’s Day, but you can still bring the romance of the sea to your home with this romantic hamper.
