It’s almost Valentine’s Day and whilst some of us are getting ready to push the boat out in the name of love, some of us are planning a more modest affair.
In place of a dinner reservation at a super swanky restaurant somewhere, you can’t really go wrong with a meal for two.
With main meals for you and your partner to share plus a bottle of bubbly thrown in for good measure, supermarket meal deals are ideal for last-minute, low maintenance couples or even just to share a night in with your girlfriends.
So whatever your budget and whatever the reason to spread some love, we’ve rounded up some of the best supermarket Valentine’s Day meal deals:
Marks & Spencer

This Valentine’s Day, M&S has promised to offer “restaurant-quality food from the comfort of customers own homes.”
And it looks pretty impressive too, with the £20 deal including a main course, starter, side, dessert, a bottle of fizz and chocolates.
After the success of their plant-based range earlier this month, there’s also a vegan option included in the deal.
Mains include seabass fillets, rump stakes with peppercorn sauce and vegan mushroom stroganoff.
The M&S Valentine’s meal deal hits stores on 12 February.

Delectable main dishes will include Finest Chicken in Champagne and Lobster Mac Cheese and for dessert, Salted Caramel and Belgian Chocolate Profiteroles – yum!
This range is sure to be popular so make sure you’re first in the queue when the deal becomes available in store and online from February 8.
