Valentine's Day calf born with heart-shaped patch on Co Antrim farm

A heart-headed calf has set the moo-d in Co Antrim on Valentine's Day.

Be My Valentine - daughter of Bridesmaid and Gold Top - was born yesterday morning with a perfect heart on her forehead. And she's udder-ly adorable.

The big-hearted jersey girl is a first for Bushmills farmer James McAuley, Belfast Live reports.

He said he's never seen a marking so distinct.

He added: "I've seen ones kind of like it but it's just the date, being Valentine's Day. It was my mum that said 'look at the heart on her head!"

The gentle-natured calf has been a hit with the kids.

Mr McAuley said: "They just love the wee jersey calves, their nature is very different to other calves."

He said he's surprised it's moo-ved so many people.

He added: "I just can't believe the way it's taken off."
