Vakoun Bayo makes Celtic social media move as Neil Lennon signs off

Celtic outcast Vakoun Issouf Bayo has liked the Instagram post announcing the resignation of boss Neil Lennon.

The striker is on loan at Toulouse in Ligue 2 having been used sparingly during the Lennon era at Parkhead.

Having been signed by Brendan Rodgers in January 2019, just a month before his departure for Leicester, the 24-year-old has only been handed two first-team starts in the Hoops.

The Ivory Coast international has been enjoying his time in France as part of the promotion-chasing side, but has clearly been keeping one eye on what is happening in Glasgow.

Following the announcement of Lennon's resignation on Instagram, Bayo interacted with the the social media post.

The attacker, who signed for Celtic in a reported £2m from Dunajska Streda, could be hoping for a second chance at Parkhead if he returns this summer under a new gaffer.

As it stands, John Kennedy is in charge and is the favourite with bookmakers to be the next man in charge.

However, the likes of Frank Lampard, Eddie Howe, Steve Clarke and Rafa Benitez are all being linked with the hot seat.

However, what comes next is far from clear cut for players and management with a director of football set to join incoming chief executive Dominic McKay in a club overhaul.
