Vaccines restart for over 75s in Nottinghamshire after supply issues

Vaccinations for the over 75s in Nottinghamshire can restart following supply issues.

The CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group) confirmed that anyone who is over 75 and has received a letter can now book their vaccination.

It comes after vaccinations due to be given to people aged between 75 and 79 were halted following a "lumpy supply" of doses.

David Mellen, leader of Nottingham City Council, said the issues could last until Thursday (January 28), but now the CCG said it has been able to reopen the telephone lines.

NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG said: "Great news. We have opened our booking lines for all those over 75 to get their Covid-19 vaccine."

They asked anyone who had received a letter about booking the vaccine to visit this website.

The CCG added: "Anyone over 75 who has received their letter can also book their Covid-19 vaccine appointment by calling 0115 883 4640."
