BHOPAL: Bhopal is around 3,000 doses shy of achieving 19.5 lakh 100% first dose coverage. Preliminary eligible list is about 19.5 lakh and on Saturday night the number people who have received the first dose stood at 19,47,547.
However, the figure could vary as has been found in the case of Indore. About 79,000 doses for first dose have been administered in Indore three weeks after it declared 100% first dose coverage. Similar situation is not being ruled out in the state capital.
About 11,000 doses of vaccine to protect against Covid-19 were administered in the state capital on Saturday while 200 session sites were operation during the day.
According to government data, first dose coverage has declined since mid-August. Second dose administration has outnumbered first dose.
On Saturday, total vaccination doses administered stood at 29,12,653. Around 9,65,106 people are fully inoculated.
4.96L get the jab in a day in MP
A total of 4.96 lakh Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered in MP on Saturday, as per the health bulletin of the directorate of health services. With these doses being administered on Saturday a total of 6.07 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the state so far. Maximum doses were administered in Indore district (40,334), Jabalpur (34,641), Chhindwara (25,029) and Balaghat (17,065).
