MUZAFFARNAGAR: A 42-year-old farmer Satyender Singh was shot dead while he was out for some work. His body was found under a flyover near the Fugana bus stand. According to inspector KP Singh, the body with a bullet entry in the chest has been sent for post-mortem, and further investigation is on into the matter.
According to police sources, farmer Satendra alias Pappu, resident of village Fugana under Fugana police station area, had gone from his house to irrigate his farming field late on Saturday evening. But when farmer Satendra did not return home late in the night, his family members started searching for him. SP, said," The family members had told that there are some people from the village who murdered Surender. Taking immediate action into the matter, two accused have been detained who are being interrogated".
