Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Mayawati & Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wish SP president Akhilesh Yadav on his 49th birthday

LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath, Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and a host of political leaders greeted Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav on his 49th birthday on Friday. Recently elected Azamgarh MP Dinesh Lal Nirahua also wished the SP chief on his birthday describing him as his "elder brother".

“Uttar Pradesh ke poorva mukhya mantri shri Akhilesh Yadav ji ko janamdin ki hardik shubhmaknayen (Heartfelt birthday wishes to former UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav ji),” chief minister Yogi Adityanath tweeted.

BSP supremo Mayawati, too, took to Twitter extending birthday wishes to the SP chief while praying for his long life. She also extended her greetings to the SP chief’s family on the occasion. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted birthday wishes for Akhilesh praying for his good health and long life.

Samajwadi Party’s alliance partner Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar and his son Arun Rajbhar called on Akhilesh at the party office to wish him on his birthday.

Tamil Nadu chief minister and DMK president MK Stalin, ACCI National secretary Ajay Kapoor, CWC member Devendra Yadav and BJP leader Shyam Dhani were among those who wished Akhilesh on his birthday.

Recently elected Azamgarh MP Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua tweeted a file photo of himself with Akhilesh Yadav and referred to the SP chief as his elder brother. Nirahua won the Azamgarh Lok Sabha bypoll after the seat was vacated by Akhiesh.

What, however, caught the attention of many was the tweet from deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya. “Akhilesh Yadav ji apko janamdin ki hardik shubhkamnayen (Heartfelt birthday wishes to you, Akhilesh Yadav ji),” he tweeted only to delete the post shortly thereafter.
