LUCKNOW: In a spate of transfers involving district magistrates, Ayodhya got a new DM in 2010 batch officer Nitish Kumar, who was earlier DM of Bareilly. Anuj Kumar Jha, who was Ayodhya DM till Saturday, has been kept in waiting.
Kumar was replaced in Bareilly by Manvendra Singh, who was DM, Farrukhabad. The DM of Jhansi, Andra Vamsi, has also been kept in waiting, along with 2012 batch officer Ujjwal Kumar who was DM Maharajganj. Vamsi has been replaced by Ravindra Kumar, a 2011 batch officer who was earlier DM Bulandshahr. Chandra Prakash Singh, a 2012 batch officer who was earlier DM Kasganj, is the new DM of Bulandshahr.
Satyendra Kumar of the 2013 batch is the new DM of Maharajganj while Sanjay Kumar Singh-I, special secretary (appointments), is the new DM of Farrukhabad. Manoj Kumar, special secretary (tourism), is the new DM of Mahoba while Neha Prakash, special secretary (secondary education), is the new DM of Shravasti.
Harshita Mathur of the 2013 batch, is the new DM of Kasganj while TK Shibu of the 2012 batch, who was earlier DM Shrawasti, is the new DM of Sonebhadra.
