VARANASI: As many as four persons including a passer-by were killed while a labourer sustained injury when a tractor trolley carrying construction machine overturned on Khetasarai-Didarganj Road near Jamdaha village of Jaunpur district on Sunday evening. The injured person was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the tractor trolley fell into a roadside ditch after running over a resident of Manikhurd, Tuntun alias Pradeep Prajapati, who was going somewhere on his bicycle.
Three labourers, Chintelal and Harishchandra Gautam, both residents of Abbopur, and Shankar Bind, resident of Khalautipur, also came under the tractor trolley. All of them died on the spot. A labourer, Ram Shakal Bind, of Abbopur sustained injuries in the incident.
SO Prakash Rai said that the injured person was admitted to the primary health centre at Sondhi. The bodies were sent for postmortem.
