BANDA: A 24-year-old police constable allegedly committed suicide in Banda district late on Friday night. The incident occurred at a rented accommodation of the police personnel in Kamasin town. As per report, late on Friday night, the policeman after putting his mobile phone on flight mode committed suicide.
At around 6 in the morning, a few locals saw his body hanging from the roof and informed the police. The police rushed to the spot and sent the body for an autopsy. The exact reason for the extreme step is unknown. A case has been filed and the investigation has begun. tnn
