What’s Going To Happen
Can the UTSA defense do anything to keep the North Texas passing game in check?
The Roadrunners get hit with too many penalties, and they can’t complete any sort of a downfield passing attack, but they can take the ball away, and they’re better than the stats – losing to Baylor and Army will do that.
But the North Texas offense is overdue to bust out. They won’t need to do too much with the great Mean Green pass rush able to take over the game early on. UTSA’s offense stalls with the slightest blip, and the UNT defensive front will take care of that.
The defense had problems with SMU, and the O trying to do anything against Cal’s D was a nightmare, but this week, Mason Fine and company should have all the time they need to operate. There’s no UTSA offense in place to keep up the pace.
North Texas should have this locked down by halftime.
