The first song of Genius, which introduces filmmaker Anil Sharma’s son Utkarsh Sharma, is out and Arijit Singh’s melodious voice is the stand-out feature of this romantic number. Titled Tera Fitoor, the song has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Kumaar has penned down the lyrics.
Sharing the song, Utkarsh tweeted, “Honoured to perform to Himesh Reshammiya’s melodious music and Arjit Singh’s soulful voice. When these two geniuses combine #TeraFitoor is what you get! Super excited to share it with everyone:” The video shows Utkarsh dancing in a college campus and he looks completely love-struck as he throws books in the air al a Aamir Khan-Ayesh Jhulka’s Pehla Nasha. Funnily, the hero is so lost in his thoughts, he ends up setting chemistry lab on fire!

Genuis has been directed by Anil Sharma and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and newcomer Ishita.
Anil had an emotional tweet to share after the song was released online Thursday morning. “M great full to God ..the dream of #genius which I saw .finally coming true.jus after 10 mnt first song shot on my son @iutkarsharma n @quaintrelle_ish will b live @tipsofficial for ur love .magical @raiisonai n melodious #HR soul full lyrics @kumaarofficial thx @DeepakMukut,” he wrote.

Speaking at the film’s launch in Mumbai, Anil had said, “Everyone must be thinking that Utkarsh is my son, so I must have treated him gently on the film sets, but that’s not the case. I am a taskmaster as a director. I worked with him in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha as well. When I work as a director, then I only act as a director. That time I only see actors like characters for my film. While shooting for Gadar..., I made Utkarsh shoot in really tough conditions and late nights as well. So in this film also I have treated him only as an actor who plays the character in my film, and not as a son.”
Utkarsh has worked as a child artiste in Anil Sharma’s Gadar that had Sunny Deol in the lead role.
