Clean lines, inventive silhouettes and androgyny are the principles behind Raey, Matches’ new in-house line, which takes over from Freda. Designed by – and presumably named after – Rachael Proud, the former design director at Christopher Kane and wunderkind of high-street collaborations (she was responsible for Topshop’s team-ups with Hussein Chalayan, Marios Schwab and Louise Goldin), this simple, asymmetric dress screams Greek holiday. Genuinely – lean in close and it whispers “feta” at you. Team with sandals and watch out for the anemones.
