USWNT fans had so much fun dunking on Piers Morgan after World Cup win over England

The US women’s national team is heading back to the World Cup final after beating England, 2-1, in Tuesday’s semifinal match.

The US opened the scoring when Christen Press opened the scoring in the 10th minute and then Alex Morgan gave the Americans the lead for good with her goal in the 31st minute.

Morgan, who turned 30 today, celebrated that goal by pretending to sip a cup of tea.

While US fans loved that, British broadcaster Piers Morgan, who is never, ever one to shy away from giving his opinion on just about everything, was not a fan of the move. Because, of course.

Morgan tweeted before the game that England would beat the US:

Yeah, that didn’t happen, even without Megan Rapinoe in the lineup. And fans had fun dunking on Morgan after the game:
