Jonnetta Patton, Usher's mother, has been instrumental in his journey towards stardom, especially during the '90s and the early 2000s. Not only did she provide valuable guidance in business decisions, but she also nurtured her son's talents and encouraged him to reach his full potential.

Usher himself acknowledges the immense impact his mother has had on his ambition and drive.
