What’s Going To Happen
South Florida can still make this an interesting season.
It’s been a disappointing campaign, but with two wins in the last three games, it has a shot to stay in the hunt for a bowl game with a win. On the down side, with a brutal November ahead, there’s a shot this might be the last real chance at a win.
East Carolina hasn’t been able to get the O going enough to deal with Temple and USF, and with Cincinnati and SMU up next, this is its best chance at a win until getting UConn in late November.
The Pirates might not be consistent, and they might not have anything offensively that’s working enough to rely on, the defense is doing a nice job of getting into the backfield and it should be able to get through a Bull offensive front that’s having a hard time blocking anyone.
However, USF is great at taking the ball away, it has just enough of a defensive line to bother everything ECU is trying to do, and it should be able to capitalize on the mistakes – it’ll come up with at least two turnovers – to survive on the road.
