USC receiver Nelson Agholor will enter the 2015 NFL draft

Jan. 03--USC receiver Nelson Agholor will forego his final season of eligibility and make himself available for the NFL draft.

"These past three years at USC have been a blessing, along with a lot of my life," Agholor said in a statement on USC's athletic department website. "I am very grateful to have had the coaches and staff members of this prestigious university in my life.

"Because of these men and women, I feel prepared to follow my dreams into the NFL."

Agholor is the second eligible USC junior to announce for the draft. Defensive lineman Leonard Williams, projected as a possible top-five pick, announced last week he would turn pro.

Junior running back Javorius Allen also is expected to make himself available for the draft.

Agholor caught 104 passes this season, 12 for touchdowns. He also returned two punts for touchdowns.

Agholor finished his career with 179 catches, 20 for touchdowns. His four punt returns for touchdowns is a school record.

Agholor is the third junior receiver in three years to leave USC.

Robert Woods left after the 2012 season, Marqise Lee after last season. Both were drafted in the second round.

"All of us at USC thank Nelson for all he has done here. He had an outstanding career and will always be a Trojan," USC Coach Steve Sarkisian said in a statement.
