Usain Bolt announces London event to discuss record-breaking career

Usain Bolt - (Fane)

Usain Bolt is heading to London to discuss his record-breaking, medal-laden career.

The eight-time Olympics gold medalist is holding a one-night appearance at The O2 on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 - titled 'Usain Bolt: Fastest Man Ever' - to give fans a rare chance to hear about his life both on and off the track.

Bolt is considered by many as the greatest sprinter in history, highlighted by winning gold in the 100metre and 200m at three consecutive Olympics, from Beijing 2008, into London 2012 and his swansong at Rio 2016.

He still holds the world records in each event, both set within days of each other at the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin.

Beyond athletics, Bolt tried his hand at a professional football career, and turned out for Central Coast Mariners in a friendly, and even flirted with a move into the National Football League (NFL) in the United States.

Fans can hear from Bolt, reflecting on his career career and beyond at The O2 on Wednesday, July 22.

Organised by Fane, Usain Bolt: Fastest Man Ever promises a more personal perspective on Bolt’s journey, from his upbringing in rural Jamaica to becoming a global sporting icon known for his signature “lightning bolt” pose.

Tickets for the event go on sale at fane.co.uk/usain-bolt on Friday 8 May at 9:58am, as a nod to the running star’s 100m sprint record.
