It’s Father’s Day on the other side of the world and to celebrate, the myth, the man, and the legend that is Usain Bolt announced the birth of his twins, Saint Leo Bolt and – get this – Thunder Bolt. Both of these wee bubs are already thrumming with powerful energy and they don’t even know it yet.
Bolt and his partner, Kasi Bennett, announced the news on social media on Father’s Day in Jamaica (Sunday, June 20th). The couple, who already share little Olympia Lightning Bolt, didn’t announce they were expecting twins so this was one heck of a happy surprise.
“Happy Father’s Day to my forever love @usainbolt,” Bennett shared on Instagram.
The couple have been together since 2014, and welcomed their first child last year.
“You are the rock of this family and the greatest daddy to our little ones. We love you world without end,” Bennet wrote.

Since retiring from professional track in 2017, the eight-time Olympic gold medalist had a brief stint playing professional football, training with teams in Norway, Germany, and Australia. However, Bolt called it quits in early 2019, having had enough of sports.
After that, he shifted his attention to producing music.
Earlier this year, Bolt released a single titled ‘Living the Dream’ with his good mate Nugent ‘NJ’ Walker.
In an interview with radio station Zip 103 FM about the tune, Bolt said that he wants to “not only dominate the Jamaican market but also to get into the international market” with his music.
“We’re just trying to get a foothold, trying to make people understand that we’re not just here joking around. We’re serious about the music so we’re just going to take our time. Just like in track and field, it’s all about work and dedicating and just taking our time,” he told the radio station.
“We will get there. We believe in our ourselves, and we believe in the product that we’re putting out there.”
