Ladies and gentleman, Jack Hermansson is for real.
If you’ve been paying attention, the Swedish fighter has been trying to tell the world he was coming for the UFC middleweight title. However, a few losses to Thiago “Marreta” Santos and Cezar Ferreira early in his octagon run left some questioning Hermansson’s ability to make good on his goal.
But with “The Joker” picking up wins over Ronaldo Souza and David Branch in just a 28-day stretch – and now boasting a four-fight winning streak – Hermansson is now most certainly in the hunt. After the biggest win of his career, Hermansson makes a big leap in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie MMA middleweight rankings.
