Even after Georgia’s loss to South Carolina at home, Tyler Horka of USA TODAY ranked the Bulldogs No. 3 in his SEC power rankings.
Ahead of Georgia is Alabama and LSU, at No. 1 and No. 2.
Right behind Georgia is Florida, and behind Florida is Auburn.
Georgia was ranked No. 2 last week in Horka’s rankings. He discussed the Bulldogs here.
The Dawgs’ defeat to South Carolina is simply inexplicable, especially at home. They can’t say they got caught looking ahead, either. Next on the schedule is a Kentucky team that South Carolina drilled by 17 a couple weeks ago.
Georgia might even be over-ranked here. We’ll find out in a couple weeks when the Bulldogs take on Florida.
Obviously, I’m a Georgia fan. But I’m not sure you can have the Dawgs above Florida and Auburn. Both of those schools have looked really good all year.
Hey, I don’t know how you can have Georgia ahead of the Gamecocks at this point.
