Erick Smith of USA Today’s latest college football bowl projections are now live, and he has predicted that Michigan State will play Auburn in the Outback Bowl. The annual bowl is played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida and consists of a matchup between a Big Ten team and an SEC team.
Last year, Iowa beat Mississippi State in this bowl 27-22. The year before? Michigan lost to South Carolina.
Of course, last year’s Spartan football team played Oregon in the Redbox Bowl (sorry for making everyone relive this) and lost 6-7.
