USA TODAY has been doing predictions of which teams will be meeting up at the end of the college football in various bowl games, and as of right now, Michigan State is slated to face Auburn in the Citrus Bowl.
This isn’t a huge departure from earlier predictions, as they previously had MSU facing Auburn in the Outback Bowl instead of the Citrus. Penn State and Florida have replaced MSU and Auburn in the Outback Bowl for now. The Outback Back consists of one Big Ten and one SEC team while the Citrus Bowl has either Notre Dame or a Big Ten/ACC team facing off against an SEC team.
A win against Ohio State this weekend would certainly change MSU’s projection the next time around…
