USA player ends Special Olympics game with remarkable 75-foot buzzer-beater

Team USA defeated Canada in Tuesday’s matchup at the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi, but the USA’s Matt Millett added an epic exclamation point on the victory.

With time winding down and the U.S. up 14, Millett let fly a shot attempt from the opposite free-throw line and hit nothing but net.

Seriously, what a shot.

The shot came just hours after Steph Curry hit his own 70-foot buzzer-beater to end the first quarter, but I must give the edge to Millett here.

He had Curry beat in distance and didn’t need to the backboard. Plus, what a way to end a game.

The incredible buzzer-beater helped give the U.S. a 35-18 win over Canada.
