USA Women's star Alex Morgan has announced she is expecting her first child.
Morgan, 30, and husband Servando Carrasco announced the news on social media on Wednesday night with an adorable post.
The couple posed with their two dogs and held a "Adding 1 more to the fam. April 2020. Baby girl."
Their two dogs wore humorous neck ties, reading: "Baby human coming April 2020' and "I didn't sign up for this".
Morgan added: "We are already in love and we haven’t even met her yet. Newest member of the Carrasco family, coming soon."
She accompanied her tweet with a series of adorable pictures, including one of the couple holding tiny Nike trainers.
Carrasco is also a professional footballer, plying his trade in the MLS with LA Galaxy. The couple tied the knot in 2014.
Morgan, who plays her club football with Orlando Pride, is regarded by many as one of the leading stars in the women's game.
She helped the US to World Cup glory earlier this year having been part of the successful 2015 squad.
Morgan was also named as a nominee for the 2019 Women's Ballon d'Or earlier this week.
The USA star is joined by international teammates Megan Rapinoe, Rose Lavelle and Tobin Heath.
England's Ellen White and Lucy Bronze have also been included on the shortlist for the prestigious gong.
