It's week four of the new US TV season, and still none of the major new shows have been axed, which surely can't last.
However, most have been dropping viewers - the key to becoming a long running series, it seems, is to not drop as many as your rivals.
Bionic Woman, the NBC remake starring former EastEnders actress Michelle Ryan, was down 7% on its third outing last week, although it is still one of the strongest new shows, posting a healthy 10.1 million in its Wednesday 9pm slot.
The drama, which will be shown on ITV2 next year, was watched by 11.07 million viewers on its second outing and 13.91 million in its first week.
ABC's Anna Friel comedy drama Pushing Daisies, which has also been picked up by ITV in the UK, again won its slot on its second outing, with 10.1 million on Wednesday at 8pm - although it was down 16% on last week.
The show, about a man who can bring back people from the dead simply by touching them, debuted with 13.03 million - the best 8pm premiere on US television this autumn.
The third outing of ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, which has been picked up by Channel 4 in the UK, pulled in 8.9 million in its 10pm Wednesday slot last week, down just 3% on last week.
After debuting with 10.44 million, the drama - about a lawyer to a wealthy and unruly New York family - dipped slightly in its second week to 9.61 million.
It was again beaten last week by CBS' perennial favourite CSI: NY- a Channel Five staple - which took the slot with 13.3 million.
Channel 4's import Big Bang Theory - a comedy about two science geeks who move in next door to a sexy female neighbour - continued to fall, pulling in 5.3 million for its third outing in its Monday 8.30pm slot on CBS.
Last week, it had 8.6 million viewers, down on its launch figure of 9.52 million.
The new run of ABC's Ugly Betty pulled in 7.4 million at 8pm last Thursday, placing it second in its time slot.
However, it was down 33% year-on-year, when it scored 11 million.
CBS' Survivor: China came first in the time slot with 8.4 million - down 12% from the previous Cook Islands series, which pulled in 9.5 million.
The second series of NBC's Emmy award-winning comedy 30 Rock, which launched on Channel Five last week, pulled in 4.3 million in its Thursday 8.30pm a lot, putting it fourth out of the big four networks. It is paired with My Name is Earl, which airs before it at 8pm, which also came fourth in its time slot with 5.1 million.
