US tries to lure tourists back to the states with new fact-check program

  • Hotel bookings for the upcoming Fifa World Cup are lower than anticipated, with 65 to 70 percent of respondents attributing this to visa barriers and geopolitical concerns.
  • Despite these challenges, the US is promoting itself as 'open for business', with Britons receiving over 1.2 million Electronic System for Travel Authorisation approvals between October last year and April.
