US President Donald Trump sent on Saturday a cable of condolences to the families of Saudi students Theeb Al-Yami and Jasser Al-Yami, who lost their lives in Massachusetts while trying to rescue two children from drowning.
He said the students exemplified “tremendous courage by putting their own life at risk to save two distressed children”.
Their heroism represents the “very best of humanity” and their noble actions will always be remembered, he said.
Trump hoped the families will find strength in the “inspiring legacy” of their sons’ selfless sacrifice.
