US woman faces murder charge after elderly man is shoved off bus for 'asking her to be nicer'

A woman is facing murder charges after she allegedly shoved an elderly man off a bus in Las Vegas.

CCTV footage from on board the bus shows a woman violently pushing 74-year-old Serge Fournier out of the door.

He had reportedly told her to be nicer to other passengers before he was shoved to the ground.

Mr Fournier survived the fall on 21 March but died of his injuries at a hospital a month later.

Police arrested a woman identified as Cadesha Bishop, 25, on May 6. She is now facing murder charges.

In the short clip, a woman can be seen pushing Mr Fournier down the front steps of the stationary bus with both hands.

Mr Fournier picks up his trolley as he makes a move to exit the vehicle before falling hard onto the pavement, hitting his head.

The woman was reportedly yelling and swearing at passengers on the bus prior to the incident, which occurred in downtown Las Vegas.

In a statement Police said the woman was being "argumentative" with people on the bus.

Mr Fourner admitted himself to hospital later that night due to his injuries, police said.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department posted the video on Twitter in an appeal for witnesses.
