In response to the advertising downturn the Cincinnati Enquirer - a Gannett paper in Ohio that sells more than 200,000 copies a day - is eliminating classified ads from its Monday and Tuesday issues. It's also preparing to switch to a narrower page format and condensing some of its sections. (Via Cincinnati Business Courier)
