The 125th US Open is being held for a record tenth time at Oakmont Country Club, Pennsylvania. 156 players are currently battling it out to win the trophy, with Sam Burns leading the way, at an impressive three-under-par.
The first two men's Majors of the year have already produced incredible drama. Both respective winners, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, will look to overturn their poor first two rounds and set themselves up to try and claim their second historic win of 2025.
After a weather affected Friday, cutting the second round short, how is the forecast looking for the weekend at Oakmont?
US Open Weather Forecast
If you're heading out to Oakmont this weekend, don't forget to pack your waterproofs and umbrella, as unfortunately rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue.
The sunshine we saw yesterday morning and throughout this week has disappeared and is unlikely to return before the tournament ends on Sunday.
There will be regular spells of showers and thunderstorms throughout Saturday and Sunday, and there is no guarantee that there won't be another stoppage in play.
The horn sounded late last night due to the storms, with thirteen players still needing to complete their second round, three of which are around the cut line.
Players may not mind this rain though, as it will help soften the Oakmont ground, which has become incredibly firm due to this week's fair weather.
Wind speeds for the weekend are expected to be on the low side with highs of just 6-7mph.
